Kingdom
Projects, Inc. (KPI) is located in Callaway
County, Missouri. It was incorporated
in 1976 as a non-for-profit business.
Certified as an "Extended Employment
Sheltered Workshop" by Missouri Department
of Elementary and Secondary Education
(DESE), KPI currently provides employment
opportunities for 110 disabled adults.
KPI's
property is located on 6.28 acres with
an 18,645 square feet building built in
1990. In 1994 a 5,000 square foot warehouse
was built for storage of recycled material.
This warehouse currently is being used
for sorting recycled material as well
as storage. In 1999, a 1,000 square foot
addition to our main facility was constructed.
In spring of 2002, a state of the art
5,000 square feet fiber soft facility
was built enabling KPI to process over
10 tons of material per hour.

Projects receives funding from the Missouri
Department of Elementary and Secondary
Education, Callaway County Social Services
(Senate Bill 40), Grants from the Department
of Natural Resources, and fundraising.
However 85% of our income is generated
from contract work that includes: Missouri
Department of Transportation (MODOT) rest
area maintenance, packaging and assembly
subcontracts, screen printing, product
development as well as recycling activities.
Recycling activities include curbside
and municipal programs, school and college
recycling programs, state, county and
federal collection and processing contracts
as well as product and confidential material
destruction and shredding. |
